She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Chaske and Doris Bird; her siblings, Allan Bird, Quentin Bird, Baby C, Richard Bird and Colleen Bird; and her nephew Donald Jr. Linklater.
She is survived by: her children, Quentin Bird and Alicia Bird (Mathew); her grandchildren, Deeshaine Bird, Trinity Bird-Gobinsingh and Ava Bird-Gobinsingh; and her sisters, Maria Bird and Michelle Chaske.
A wake was held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Dakota Tipi Community Hall. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (25 St NW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N3C2).
