Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fletcher and Vernice Fletcher; and her former husband Joseph George Saunders. She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Harris (Wayne); her grandson DJ Harris; her daughter-in-law Cathleen Halama; her grandson Cody Halama; her adoptive daughter Lorri Pearce; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
