With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Keith Maxwell (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Keith left this world on May 19, 2026 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maxwell and Betty Maxwell; and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Armstrong, Bill Parker and Allan Bowden.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bowden Maxwell; his daughter Sheila Maxwell (James Hulme); his sisters, Joan and Shirley Armstrong; and his in-laws, Agnes Graham, Don Bowden (Linda), Lawrence Bowden (Dianne), Marilyn Dembiczak (Doug), Yvonne Patten (Dave), Narisa Bowden, Diane Robertson (Don) and Karen Stuart (Robert). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (9 St SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N).
