Mervin Denis Meeches Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mervin Denis Meeches (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his babies, Benjamin and Elizabeth; his mother Rita Meeches; his sisters, Roxanne, Joanna and Shanna; his grandparents, Herbert Daniels, Gladys Meeches, Alfred and Mabel Roulette; his aunts and uncles, Debbie, Doreen, Pauline, Gloria, Cecelia, Morris, Russell, Earl, Alvin and Allen; and his cousins, Melodie and Selina.

He is survived by: his children, Dillon, Darnell, Mervin Jr. Julian, Shanikwa and Tai; his siblings, Tannis, Amanda, Shaun and Ethan; his nieces, Khloe and Bella; his grandchildren, Ezra and Lakodan; and also Mervin Roulette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A wake was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Calendrier Long Plain Spirit Lodge 111. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calendrier Dauphin Myerion Cemetery.
