She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gilbert and Gladys Gilbert; and her brother David Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Emil Matyasovszky; her grandchildren, Dan (Kelly), Aidan and Quhyn; her children, Diana (Mark), Ryan, Sarah, Mark (Annemarie), Arron, Benjamin, Jacob, Jordan and Jaxen; her siblings, Sylvia Silvester and John Gilbert (Linda); and her brother-in-law Steve Matyasovszky (Donna). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Herman Prior Centre (40 Royal Rd N, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1R8).
