He was predeceased by: his parents, James Webb Russell and Alice Evelyn Anderson; his siblings, Faye, Ruth, Gwen, Gary, Blaine, Jim, Dale and Gordie; and his parents-in-law, Lyle and Dorothy Sylvester.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Russell; his grandchildren, Khalie (Yaro), Tianna (Ethan), Jadyn (Maddy) and Rio; and his sisters, Janet Braun of Vancouver and Bonnie Ressler (Dennis) of Calgary. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.
