He was predeceased by: his wife Noreen Pongoski (Owens); his son-in-law Kenneth Brooking; his parents, William Pongoski and Annie Pongoski (Andrushuk); his siblings, Sadie Barker (Keith), George Pongoski and Roger Pongoski (Rose); and his in-laws, Gerry and Maryann Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Smith (Shane) and Brett Pongoski (Robin); his grandchildren, Greg Brooking (Veronica), Jill Brooking (Anthony), Maria Pongoski, Lydia Pongoski (Victor) and Gloria Pongoski; his great grandchild Amelia; his aunt Joan Pongoski; and his daughter Marjorie Diane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
