It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Pliszka (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Pliszka and Vivian Pliszka; and his brother John Pliszka. He is survived by: his wife Joanita; his sons, Todd Pliszka of Portage and Christopher (Tracy); his grandchildren, Alexis and Elizabeth of Grande Prairie, Alberta; his sister Marie Adamson (Ken) of Winnipeg; his parents-in-law, Earl and Marvel Wedeking of Clarksville, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Wedeking (Crystal) of Plainfield, Iowa and Susan Pliszka of Vernon, B. C.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
