James Reid Obituary
We announce the death of James Reid (Roblin, Manitoba), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 87. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. James will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew James will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. James’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Eva Paupanekis; his daughter Miranda Paupanekis; his grandson Harlan Fourre; and his parents, Robert Reid and Bridget Reid.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rochelle Dyrkacz (Dion), Nicole LaBossiere (Brendan) and Dylan Fourre; his sister Cecelia Fraser; and his great grandchildren, Evasia, Orianne, Aurelio and Ezra.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mosaic Funeral Home.
