He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob F. Goossen and Mary Wiebe Goossen. He is survived by: his sister Martha; his uncle California; his children, Beverly of Steinbach, MB and Chester (Ada); his grandchildren, Chad (Heidi Goossen), Luke (Cheryl Goossen), Beth (Escar Funk) and Matthew (Cherith Goossen); and his siblings, Frances Penner of Steinbach, MB and Walter (Ruth).
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Rosenort Church of God in Christ (30106 PR422, Rosenort, MB R0G1W0). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
