He was predeceased by: his parents, Marius Robert and Lorraine Robert; his in-laws, Joseph and Peggy Pardoski; his brothers, Lionel and Maurice Robert; his sister-in-law Debbie Robert; his niece Dawn-Marie; and his brothers-in-law, George Leclair and Ken Nash.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Rachel (Alain), Jolene and Richard (Ashleigh); his grandchildren, Alex (Rachel), Ashton, Rheanne (Jessy), Kai, Danica, Aiden and Wilder; his siblings, Leo (Diane), Aurèle (Regina), Mariette (Denis), Don (Claudette), Corinne, Lise, Michelle (Bruce), Nicole (Wade) and Angèle; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon and Robert Pardoski (Liane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to Red River Valley Lodge.
