She was predeceased by: her grandson Patrick; her parents, Lucien and Denise; her stepmother Alice; and her brothers, Gilbert, Raymond and Norman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chantal Ayotte (Thomas), Christiane Ayotte (Rodney) and Liz Begley; her grandchildren, Justine, Alexa (Navdeep), Collin (Emma), Marc (Tesia), Deserée (Ethan), Tristen, Dylan, Kassidy (A. J.) and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Leo, Everleigh, Kingsleigh, Ainsleigh, Genesee, Nova, Addison and Robert; her siblings, Léonne (Fred), Michel and Rachelle (Ben); and her sisters-in-law, Marie and Liliane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
