He is survived by: his wife Dixie Welburn; his siblings, Melvin Heppner (Karen), Barry Heppner (Diana) and Sharon Shumski; and his nieces and nephews, Sheryl Simpson (Ken), Rachel, Julia Heppner, Donald Heppner (Jennifer), Brian Heppner, Chance and Hunter Simpson.
