With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Nakonechny (Sainte Rose du Lac, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ward and Helen Ward; and her siblings, Annie Ward, Marg Paxton, Helen Dawson and Edwin Ward.
She is survived by: her husband David; her son Jeffery; her son-in-law Greg Gingras; her sister E. Merle Paxton; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Nakonechny and Florine Cronk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkland Humane Society.
