It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Anne Shemeliuk of Sandy Lake, Manitoba, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Birkett Bowen and Rosemarie Edith Amy Bowen. She is survived by: her husband Edward Shemeliuk; her children, Rachael Shemeliuk and Glynis Shemeliuk (Colin Salmon); her sister Heather Williams; and her brother-in-law Denis Williams.

Virginia loved animals and cared about their welfare deeply; in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local humane society or animal shelter.
