He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kowerko and Kay Kowerko; his wife Jeanne; his daughter Georgina; his son-in-law Bill Groves; his grandson Sean Groves; and his sister Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Bob, Kathy Groves, Blaine, Randy and Laurie Lawrence (Maynard). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brothers and sister.
A prayer was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A 1M8). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church (3597 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A4A7).
