Ashley Nelson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ashley Nelson (Selkirk, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her close friends, Brandy Bowers and Bruce Mayo; her significant other Nan Eileen Freeman; her grandfather Doug Thomas; and her uncle Ed Freeman.

She is survived by: her parents, Sandra Freeman (Louie) and Wayne Nelson; her daughters, Kaydence and Kianna Duguid; her brother Ryan; her niece Luci-anne; and her grandparents, Stan Freeman and Lila Thomas. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honour Ashley's spirit by paying forward an act of kindness to someone in need – just as she always did.
