She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert and Audrey; her husband Wayne; and her sister Barb. She is survived by: her sons, Colin Merkel (Tracy) and Shaun Merkel (Tannis); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Annika, Natalie and Kane; and her brothers, Rick Karpoff (Michele), Gary Karpoff (Kris) and Myles Karpoff (Charlene).
