She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jacobsen and Stephanie Jacobsen; her sisters, Jackie (Clarke) and Judy (Brett); and her former husband Ted Boyd.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Jim Brett; her nieces, Carolyn Brett (David Pickering) and Liz Carson (Peter Carson); her nephew James Brett; and her husband Jim Kennedy.
She was a competitive swimmer with the Masters and took part in numerous charity walks over the years.
