In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dewey had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Dewey may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Jeanette, Vernon (Tamara), Sammy, Teresa and Tricia (Adam). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gilbart Funeral Home (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A1M8).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to areas which impacted Dewey such as Fibromyalgia Association Canada, Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
