In loving memory of Francis Black (Selkirk, Manitoba), who departed this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Francis leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Francis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Francis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Black and Mary Black; his wife Aurise Duguay; and his siblings, Barney, Roddy, Joe and Carmel.
He is survived by: his brother Paul (Kay); and his children, Steve (Deanna), Rob (Jackie), Scott (Coral) and Lisa (Danny). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A 1M8).
