He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Anton Maicher and Magdalena Maicher; his sister Sylvia (Anthony); his nephews, Jeffrey (Marietta) and Steven (Stephanie); his niece Michelle (Anonh); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anton, Gianna, Andrea, Kyla, Claire, Gracie, Leah and Elliana.

A funeral mass was held on Thursday, February 18th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church (269 Jemima St, Selkirk, MB R1A1W9).
