He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanne Recksiedler and William Recksiedler; his nephew Kyle; and his brothers-in-law, Greg Swain and John Toews.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bonny Toews, Donna Recksiedler, Arther (Valerie) and Richard Recksiedler (Anna). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Mb (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A 1M8).
