Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her son Eric; her parents, Gudlaug Magnusson and Agnar Magnusson; and her brother-in-law Stefan Jones (Jack Dobb).
She is survived by: her son Brian; her sisters, Rae Magnusson, Lynne Magnusson (Paul Stevens) and Janis Magnusson (Bill Valgardson); and her sister-in-law Eileen Jones.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Selkirk (329 Clandeboye Ave, Selkirk, MB R1A0X4).
