She was predeceased by: her parents, Aarel Sexton and Bessey Sexton; her husband Stanton Richards; her children, Ruth Ann Harris, Norman and Maurice Richards; and her foster daughter Stephanie McKay.

She is survived by: her children, David Laire (Elaine), Gary Richards, Marianne (Terry Sarich) and Aaron Richards; her son-in-law Philip Harris; and her foster daughter Cheyenne Williams. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
