He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Edith McAulay, Wilfred and Gertrude Massey; his parents, Edwin McAulay and Eileen McAulay; and his niece Sayler Funk.

He is survived by: his siblings, Maureen (Bob), Heather (Gord), Lois, Sheila (Danny), Rhonda, Lorna, Alexis, Craig (Connie), Lisa (Mark), Marlene (John), Marcella and Crystal (Rene).
