Stephen Lawrence Obituary
In loving memory of Stephen Lawrence of Selkirk, Manitoba, who departed this world on March 7, 2025 at the age of 61. Stephen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Lawrence and Donna Lawrence; and his siblings, Richard, Zachary and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, Courtney Lawrence (Connor Joseph), James Lawrence (Caitlyn Haney) and Lorie Fiddler; the mother of his child Leona Hacking; his sister Marilyn Lawrence; and also, Luke (Jenn), Will (Christina) and Kat (Clay). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gilbart Funeral Home (309 Eveline St, Selkirk, MB R1A 1M8).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's memory to Brain Cancer Canada and Our Daily Bread soup kitchen in Selkirk.
