Valerie left this world on August 2, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband David; her granddaughter Haylee; her parents, Ellen and Garnet; her siblings, Velma, Blanche and Percy; and her in-laws, Cleo, Keith, Jay and Douglas.

She is survived by: her children, Corey (Mel), Mark and Jodie; her grandchildren, Richelle (James), Harley (Amber) and Kaden; her brother Roger; her sister-in-law Shirley; and her in-laws, Derrence (Sandra), John, Robin, Stephanie, Iris and Florence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
