He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Cheryl (Kevin), Shelly (Stewart), Susan (Jason) and Noreen (Shawn); his grandchildren, Quintin, Brendan, Riley, Logan, Aaron, Renae, Will and Reese; his stepgranddaughters, Kelly and Sophie Leonard; his sisters, Mary Bush and Elizabeth Bodnar; his parents, Fred Henkewich and Dora Henkewich; his sister Liz; and his wife Violet. He was also cherished by kids' peers and friends.
