She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Joseph and Florences Miller Squires; and her siblings, Loraine, Joseph and Dorthy.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Kevin Power; and her children, Richard Brown Jr. (Jennifer) of Christiansburg, Virginia, Lisa Damon (Richard) of Ashland, Barbara Brown-Clark (Ron) of Ashland and Roger Brown (Kate) of Ashland, Kentucky.. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
