He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Chaslyn; his parents, Michel DeJaegher and Jenny DeJaegher; his parents-in-law, Albert and Céline Comte; and his brothers-in-law, Remi Messner and William Fehr.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Colin (Crystal), Travis (Heather) and Leanne; his grandchildren, Jeri-Lynn, Hadley, Casey and Colton; his sisters, Linda Messner and Sharon Fehr; and his in-laws, Roger (Dianne), Michelle (Ernie), Marielle (Charles), Normand, Lisa (Ash) and Lynne (Andrew).
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Somerset Parish Hall (402 Lachance St, Somerset, MB R0G2L0).
