He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila Nickles; his children, Melissa Karvonen (Trent) and J. D. Nickles (Mary); his grandchildren, Marcus, Tyra, Julia, Lyla and Alecia; his sister Darlene; his nephew Gordon (Sam); and his great-nephew Colton.
