We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, Trijntje De Jong (Souris, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Trijntje shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Trijntje farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Gerlof of Jong; her children, Neeltje, Auke (France) and Liz (Kyle); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Paige, Matthew and Abigail.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kowalchuk's Funeral Chapel (99 Second St S, Souris, MB R0K 2C0).
In memory of Tineke, donations may be made to the Souris Hospital Palliative Care Fund or to the Deleau Park.
