He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Thiessen. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his mother Diane; his siblings, Nancy Brown (Cam) and Allan Thiessen (Brenda); his children, Hailey and Landon Thiessen; his stepchildren, Stephanie Ducharme and Chris Ducharme; and his siblings' children, Andrew Brown (Danielle), Matthew Brown, Rachel Poblano (Joe), Naomi Brown (Reece Gilbert), Chad Thiessen and Katelin Thiessen (Steven Corneliusen).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little Country Church.
