Jacob Thiessen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Thiessen (Southport, Manitoba), who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Thiessen; his children, Lillian Sanderson and Bradley Thiessen; his children-in-law, Darlene Thiessen and Clark Ducharme; his great grandchild Jesse Saltise; his parents, Mary Thiessen and Abraham Thiessen; and his siblings, Abe Thiessen, Leonard Thiessen, Linda Friesen, Tina Baker, Elma Thiessen and Mary Elliot.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Thiessen (Darlene), Teresa Saltise (Mike), Rodney Thiessen, Angela Ducharme and Roxanne Thiessen; and his pets, Jade and Jax. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter, along with numerous relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at 2 Cemetery Rd, Southport, MB R1N3C2.
