He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Listmayer; and his parents, Helen Machej and Charles Machej. He is survived by: his brothers, Edward and Gordon (April); his children, Virginia Tost (John), Valerie Happychuk (Neil), Murray Machej (Corinne) and Melodie Ritchie (Colin); his grandchildren, Luke, Lacey (Brady), Charity (Dean), Cole, Alysha (Erin) and Carlin (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Ryder and Hudson; and his sister-in-law Elsie Listmayer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
