She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Rev. Peter S. Kehler and Katharina Kehler; husband: Rev. Cornelius G. Peters; children: Pete (Joanne), Dan (Ev), Ed (Barbara), Tom (Mary), Kathy (Ed Friesen), and Martha (Vik Sawatzky); siblings: Andrew, Henry, Peter, Willy, Jacob, Mary Isaac, Helen Unger, Eva Schellenberg, Anne Doerksen, Tina Bergen, and Frieda (Ed) Neufeld; sisters-in-law: Mathilda Kehler, Helen Kehler, and Anne Funk; brother-in-law: Aron Friesen; granddaughters: Rebecca Peters and Tanya Peters Sayer; and 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1).
