Carol Elaine (Thompson) St. Amand Obituary
Carol Elaine St. Amand, 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 12, 2020 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba after a short battle with ovarian cancer.
Carol was born on July 6, 1957 to Norman and Verna Thompson in Port Colborne, Ontario.
In 1987, she married her husband, Carol Joseph St. Amand. In 1994, they welcomed their daughter and only child, Celine Amanda St. Amand into the world.
Carol took many courses over the years earning numerous certificates. She enjoyed education and had a passion for making floral arrangements and sewing. She was always making beautiful gifts for everyone. She loved becoming a grandmother and she was a devoted caretaker to her husband for many years. We will miss her greatly and her memory will be kept alive forever.
Carol was predeceased by her father and her mother. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her granddaughter, Sophie Aleeyah Nguyen, her sister, Marilyn (Patrick) Deery, her brother, James Thompson (Queenie), and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday March 13 at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB.
