He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry, John Martens (Leona), Abe Martens (Norma), Pete Martens (Olga), Jake Martens (Helen), Sarah Martens and Helen Reddekop; his brothers-in-law, Frank Braun and Walter Kruse; and his parents, Peter Martens and Helena Martens.
He is survived by: his wife Faith Martens; his sons, Bruce (Kelcie), Fenton, Vince, Trig and Scott (Marion); his siblings, Mary Braun, Anne Kruse, Susie Dueck (Lawrence) and Leonard Martens (Evelyn); and his foster brother Jon Saxon (Heather). He is also survived by 33 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1).
