He was predeceased by: his parents, Marija Hebel and Jakob Hebel; his parents-in-law, John and Jeanette Prasek; his siblings, Eve Reid (Lloyd), Jack Hebel (Loris), Walter Hebel, Henry Hebel (Gloria) and Ann Hebel; his brothers-in-law, Norman Bird and George McQuigge; and his nibling Dion Hebel.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Prasek; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hebel; his children, Leah Mateychuk (Ross), Carey Hebel (Rae-Anne) and Shannon Cote (Chad); his grandchildren, Brittany Gearman (Matt), Brett Hebel, Jesse, Joe, Avery Mateychuk, Bryce, Tori Cote, Calleigh and Brady Hebel; his great grandchild Emma Gearman; his siblings, Marion Bird, Helen Bell (Craig), Olga Wesner (Gary) and Betty McQuigge; and his brother-in-law Larry Prasek (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
