It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Hiebert (Steinbach, Manitoba), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hiebert (Wiebe); his parents, Heinrich Hiebert and Otillie Luzius; his siblings, Henry, John, William, Fred and Elsie; his sons-in-law, Dietmar Dueck and Wayne Bell; and his sisters-in-law, Muriel, Hertha and Peggy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Dueck, Colleen Loewen (George), Mary Jane Hiebert (Wade McMurrich) and Ellen Hiebert (Murray Penner); his grandchildren, Michael Dueck (Nina), Ryan Dueck (Megan), Meagan Friesen (Kyle), Kate Loewen, Dillon Loewen (Robyn) and Daegan Penner; his great grandchildren, Madison, Wesley, Matthew Dueck, Lorelai, Gideon Desrosiers and Mikayla Loewen; his siblings, Erna Thiessen (Ben) and Jacob Hiebert; and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Hiebert and Sarah Thiessen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1).
