It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Schroeder of Steinbach, Manitoba, who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Freda Plett; his children, Kenton and Lucille; and his parents, David Schroeder and Elizabeth Schroeder.
He is survived by: his daughter Elaine; his grandchildren, Justin (Cindy), Lisa (Jonathan) and Joshua (Kaisley); his great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Amy, Jacob, Luke, Silas, Olivia, Violet, Franklin and Lucy; his children, Sandra and Roland; his grandchildren, Cory (Felicia), Kaidra (Trevor), Victoria and Zack; his great grandchildren, Macy, Levi, James, Chloe, Emet, Lucianna, Isla and Theo; his daughter Marles; his granddaughters, Jennifer (Jordan), Christina (Miguel) and Tiffany (Shadrach); his great grandchildren, Felix, Gemma and Ivy; his son Sheldon; and his grandchild Lacey. He is also survived by Dad did not move with his family.
