She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Penner and Katie Penner; her brother Larry Penner; her brother-in-law Mel Thompson; her grandson Shane Wiens; and her nieces, April Penner and Patty Lablanc.
She is survived by: her husband Dave Wiens; and her children, Charlene Plett (Lenton), Shannon Wiens (Jason), Tanya Knelsen (Chris) and Donavan Wiens (Felicia). She is also survived by her children & grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
