She was predeceased by : her mother Doris R. Friesen; and her husband Dave. She is survived by : her children, Patti Fries (Farley), Margie Curtis (Tom), Lori Vertone (Randy), Carol Bachmeier (Ron), Kathy Peters (Mark) and David Friesen (Vanessa); her sisters, Jessie Giesbrecht and Helen Loewen; and her brother-in-law Ron Merriam. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
