He is survived by: his wife Ella Goossen of Rosenort; his daughter Cheryl (Gerald Loewen); his daughter-in-law Julie; his children, Barry (Yaryna), David (Peggy) and Barbara (Rodney Peters); his siblings, Leonard (Evelyn), Melvin (Elvera), Ken (Darlene), Wayne (Phyllis), Rick (Karen), Darrell (Carolyn), Dolores Miller and Janet (James Goossen); and his siblings-in-law, Naiomi Penner, Lee Hiebert Bert (Neoma) and Percy Goossen. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rosenort Church of God in Christ (30106 PR422, Rosenort, MB R0G1W0).
