It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Barkman (Steinbach, Manitoba), born in Giroux, Manitoba, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John D Barkman and Susannah Koop Barkman; his siblings, Annie, Ella, Sara, Edwin and John; and his daughter-in-law Trudy Mesher-Barkman.

He is survived by : his children, Sandra Ensz (Lorin), Gerald and Lowell Barkman; his grandchildren, Jonathan Barkman (Dana), Adam Barkman (Ashley), Daniel Barkman, Sean Ensz (Jessica), Kirsten Eck (Justin), Amber Barkman, Michael Barkman, Karen Peters (Cam) and Monica Peach (Greg); and his great grandchildren, Addison, Aidan Barkman, Heather, Tristan, Caitlyn, Lana, Logan, Althea Barkman, Ellie, Mollie Ensz, Titus, Thea and Ava Eck.

A public come & go viewing will be held on Sunday, April 4, 2021, from 7:00 p. m. - 9:00 p. m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with Covid protocol's in place.
