Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helena Martens Huitikka of Steinbach, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 87, on September 23, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert; her sisters, Justina, Agatha and Margaret; her brothers-in-law, Abe, Frank, Vern and Laurie; her siblings, Agnes, Tina, Jacob, Annie, Mary, John and Cornie; and her parents, John Braun and Maria Braun.
She is survived by: her children, Carol (Mike) and Stanley (Donna); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig) and Brett (Noelle); her great grandchildren, Belle, Braxton, Sierra and Brooke; and her sisters, Gertrude, Eva and Barbara (Harry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1).
