He was predeceased by : his wife Lydia; his parents, Peter Reimer and Maria Reimer; his siblings, Nettie, Maria, John Reimer (Pauline Reimer), Sadie Dyck (John Dyck), Minna Carter (Jim Carter) and Helen Reimer; and his nephew Jimmy Carter. He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews.
