It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Giesbrecht (Steinbach, Manitoba), born in Winkler, Manitoba, who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelius Giesbrecht and Helena Giesbrecht; his siblings, Victor, Edward, Gordon and Doris; his brothers-in-law, John Schellenberg and Richard Schellenberg; his niece Shirley Delorme; and his nephew Douglas Delorme.

He is survived by : his wife Tina; his children, Christopher (Lorna), Roberta and Patrick (Debra); his grandchildren, Brittany Lauzon (Paul), Brendan Pociuch and Amber-Lin Giesbrecht; his siblings, Leonard (Rita) and Bernice Zinyk (Walter); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Giesbrecht, Lena Giesbrecht, Elizabeth Dyck (Ben), Helen Dueck (John), Helen Hildebrandt, Susan Delorme, Debbie Schellenberg and Bill Schellenberg (Lynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
