He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob and Elizabeth. He is survived by : his sons, Erwin, Erich and Hans; and his siblings, Agnita Wiens (Jacob), Elizabeth Thiessen (Flores) and John Froese (Trysh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
